Club Penguin have another upcoming update around the corner! According to
The Telegraph, this new Translation System should be arriving sometime next year! The Club Penguin Team are working on merging all of the players from English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish servers into one, without any one knowing which country they’re from!
Club Penguin’s current chat system only contains 300,000 phrases, however this upcoming update will rise that to over six billion! Lane Merrifield, Club Penguin’s co-founder, said the team wondered “What would it be like to create a world where language barriers disappear?”. The team have several translators which will automatically translate what you said in English into different languages for players from different countries!
I genuinely cannot wait for this upcoming Club Penguin update – it’ll be great to chat to some penguins from other countries, perhaps find out more about their life. However, would you not have to initially select what country you are from, so that Club Penguin know what language you wish the signs, Newspapers,
Field Ops, Games, Items and Parties to be in? Are you looking forward to it? Be sure to comment below!
