It’s Daffo here. I’ve seen some pretty crazy costumes recently and it got me thinking...

Nothing stands out more than a mismatched outfit, and nothing says spooky and strange quite like Halloween! So, I was trying on some different outfits for inspiration and found myself wearing the Kiwi Costume and the Ghost Goggles just for laughs, but you know what… it actually worked!

I’m always hoping to come across weird and wonderful discoveries so now I’m on the lookout for the freakiest fruit combination! What I'd really love to see are some fab fashion shows full of spooky, juicy costumes! What do you guys think? Who knows, maybe I'll waddle over to your igloo to take a peek at your creations!

     Hello Penguins!

I hope you're all as excited about the Halloween Party as I am. The office is buzzing today, it's going to be amazing!

I wanted to make sure you heard it directly from me, after 7 incredible years at Club Penguin, I'm going to be moving on. I'll be around for the next few months to make sure everything is all good. Then I'll be focusing on building some cool stuff for schools. I hope I'm able to help with learning the same way I have been able to help build Club Penguin.

I have had such an incredible time being a part of Club Penguin over the years and serving you guys everyday. The Club Penguin Team is better than ever, and the plans we've made for the next year are awesome! My friends Polo Field and Businesmoose will keep you updated with all the latest behind-the-scenes updates here on the blog. Even though I won't be working at Club Penguin anymore, I'll still be around and logging on to hang out.

You are the reason I've done this for so long and I am so thankful you've let me be a part of your lives. You are what makes Club Penguin special. Never forget that.

New Club Penguin Rookie Giveaway Background To Come Soon

While browsing through Club Penguin’s SWF files, I came across an unreleased file that said “Rookie’s Fall Fair Giveaway” within the Club Penguin Background SWF’s section. I found this interesting because as of right now, Rookie has not given away a new background during this year’s Fair. I also find this interesting because this SWF was just recently added to Club Penguin’s files.

If you can’t read the image from Club Penguin’s files, the main part says “Rookie’s Fall Fair Giveaway” .
Since it hasn’t been released yet, I predict that the new Club Penguin Rookie Fall Fair Giveaway Background will be released among tonight’s updates. Club Penguin “Ghosts Just Wanna Dance” by Penguin Band ft. Cadence

There’s a new song that’s going to be coming out on iTunes, Amazon, and many other music websites starting October 7. This is a song by Penguin Band and Cadence to make it the third Club Penguin song. It will be the second for Cadence and the second for Penguin Band as well.

CP Halloween sneak peek 2012

On one of the Club Penguin wiki’s out there, Polo Field has posted up an exclusive picture. He has a picture of him heading up to a mansion or haunted house of some sort. It looks really cool, and I can’t wait to be in the same spot he is right now. Either way, here’s the sneak peek.

CP Blog: meet Rookie

New CP Blog Post: You Decide: Costume Item

Happy77 from the clubpenguin team recently made a new post about deciding which costume to put in clubpenguin. Three choices, an alien costume, which is already made, a tree costume, which ALSO is already made, and the pizza costume.
They let you vote for your favorite one in the  CP Poll. My favorite one would be the tree costume, but I guess the pizza costume is winning. What will you vote for? Let me know in the comments.

CP Music Jam Party 2012

The Ultimate Jam 2012 has finally arrived on the island! The rooms have been completely re-designed, there are stages everywhere for you and your band to practice and/or preform, and there is great music! As soon as you login, a pop-up will appear. The pop-up allows you to collect a free item today. This is the first day, and there will be 3 more days, which means 3 more items! Today you can collect the purple boom box.

When you claim your free item, you can complete today’s challenge. The challenge today requires you to go to the Forest, Cove and Mine Shack with your boom box and dance there.

CP Blog Sneak Peek: Marvel Super Hero Takeover

Billybob has published his first post on the Club Penguin Community Blog in a few months! This post reveals that not only members will be able to purchase several costumes, but non-members can too, however he said he will not reveal too much about that yet.

Since the beginning of Club Penguin, they have been getting many requests for Super Hero costumes, and now that they have partnered with Marvel, that can happen! As we already know, members will be able to dress up as all of the Marvel Super Heroes, but I reckon what the Club Penguin Team was trying to say here was that non-members will be getting something from this party! We already have pictures of most of the party rooms, as seen here.

Today, Club Penguin have updated their Featured Igloo on the Community site. This time Hope1169 has won.The entrance is hidden with bookshelves, there are many plants and their are a few sofas, too.You can take a look at Hope’s igloo below:

Club Penguin YouTube Background and Icon Updated

Club Penguin have changed the background and icon of their Official YouTube Channel – this new background is based around the new Club Penguin short “Puffle Trouble”. The icon is a shot of Herbert’s face while holding the flashing detonator.

It appears that Club Penguin are changing their background whenever they upload a new short or a new party is on the island, which happens to be quite a lot. As seen in the new short, Puffle Trouble, there are many puffles running along the floor to Herbert’s detonator, which he plans on using to end Club Penguin’s fun forever more. Club Penguin – 1500 Free Coins

Club Penguin’s fourth edition of the UK Magazine was released in English stores today, meaning we have three codes each unlocking 500 coins. That’s a total of 1500 coins, like the codes included in every other month’s issue of the Club Penguin UK Magazine.

This month’s three codes from the Party Edition of the Club Penguin magazine are:

Club Penguin Super Hero Party 13th – 27th May

Disney have recently updated their Club Penguin section of the website with information on the upcoming parties on the island. Last month, we found out there would be a new, unknown party coming up sometime in June – we now know this will be called the Super Hero Party.

This new Super Hero Party will arrive on the island on the 13th of June and carry on for two weeks, however right now we only have minimum information about the party. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the upcoming Super Hero Party? Is this just a bit of fun or are we dealing with something more serious? Be sure to let us know in a comment.

Club Penguin Parent Update May 2012

The Club Penguin Team have sent out May’s parent newsletter. This newsletter is mainly based around the Medieval Party and the Puffle Trouble short which was only recently uploaded to the Official Club Penguin YouTube Channel.

As you can see in the newsletter, when the Medieval Party starts on the 17th of May, we can battle Scorn the Dragon and various other quests. Recently, when browsing on the Club Penguin Homepage, I noticed that Club Penguin released the full video of Puffle Trouble. The new Club Penguin Times Issue has been released on Club Penguin. This is the #341 Times Issue created. It’s mainly talking about the Legend of the Dark Dragon for the upcoming Medieval Party and there is new Medieval clothing catalog at the Gift Shop. Here is this week’s Club Penguin Times Issue:

Club Penguin Medieval Party Login Screen

The Medieval Party is going to be arriving to Club Penguin this month, so to let other player’s know Club Penguin has added a new login screen for the Medieval Party on the play page. Check it out below:

As you can see it’s telling us when the Medieval Party starts which is on May 17th it will end on May 29th. It look’s like heros will be needed to conquer new quests during this upcoming event. Are you ready for the Medieval Party? Tell us by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Translating System Coming soon

Club Penguin have another upcoming update around the corner! According to The Telegraph, this new Translation System should be arriving sometime next year! The Club Penguin Team are working on merging all of the players from English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish servers into one, without any one knowing which country they’re from!

Club Penguin’s current chat system only contains 300,000 phrases, however this upcoming update will rise that to over six billion! Lane Merrifield, Club Penguin’s co-founder, said the team wondered “What would it be like to create a world where language barriers disappear?”. The team have several translators which will automatically translate what you said in English into different languages for players from different countries!
I genuinely cannot wait for this upcoming Club Penguin update – it’ll be great to chat to some penguins from other countries, perhaps find out more about their life. However, would you not have to initially select what country you are from, so that Club Penguin know what language you wish the signs, Newspapers, Field Ops, Games, Items and Parties to be in? Club Penguin Pay Checks May 2012

Now that May is upon us, and the Medieval Party is on the horizon, Club Penguin have sent out the monthly Elite Penguin Force and Tour Guide paychecks, of which arrived two weeks late last month. This month, our paychecks have arrived on time!

As always, all Elite Penguin Force agents receive a monthly paycheck of 350 coins.

Club Penguin Tour Guides will receive 250 coins this month, along with every other month. How will you spend your extra 600 coins? Be sure to comment below!

Club Penguin Fan Art Updated- 30th of April 2012

The Club Penguin Team have recently added new penguin submitted Fan Art to the gallery! This time, nearly all of the Fan Art submissions which got through were based upon the Earth Day party, which ended a few days ago.

Club Penguin UK Magazine Issue #4 Sneak Peek

The Club Penguin team behind the SupportAtCP Twitter Account have tweeted a picture of the fourth UK Magazine which arrives in shops on May 3rd. They tweeted: “Issue 4 of the #ClubPenguin magazine will be out on May 3rd. It’s the PARTY issue and will include 2 free items! ^AH” with an image included below.

I don't know if that penguin is really grey or not, but as you can see in the front cover of the Club Penguin UK Magazine, and in the tweet, this is a party edition! 1500 coins and two free items will be included. Club Penguin Featured Igloos- April 30

Happy77 has recently posted on the Club Penguin blog with April 30th’s Featured Igloos. The first of the three igloos that were posted on the blog was designed by Serria1234. Serria1234′s igloo was recommended to Happy77 by Essa12345, who said: “You really should check out my best friend’s igloo. Her name is Serria1234!”. Happy77 also likes Mcduck‘s igloo, recommended by Lizzy9610. Lizzy9610 said: ““You should totally check out my friend Mcduck’s igloo! It’s totally RADICAL! He would really appreciate it if you just gave it a look. Waddle On Cp!” about her buddy. The final of the three igloos Happy77 likes was recommended by Cloudyskies. Lildudee10‘s buddy said: “My friend, Lildudee10, has the best igloo I’ve ever SEEN! You should check it out.   WADDLE ON!” about his igloo. New Club Penguin EPF Message From Rookie

Rookie has sent all Elite Penguin Force Agents on Club Penguin a new message. In this message, Rookie talks about overhearing someone saying that there is a cream soda shortage whilst he was in the Pizza Parlour. Here’s a screenshot of Rookie’s message:

Hey everyone, I was in the Pizza Shop, and I overheard someone say there’s a cream soda shortage. Is Rockhopper in town???

Rockhopper has not arrived on this island yet, however he’s on his way now to Club Penguin. We are still unsure at this moment whether Rockhopper is coming for the Medieval Party or not. Do you think Rockhopper is coming to the Medieval Party or a different party? Tell us in the comments.

New Club Penguin Featured Igloo

After a long wait, Club Penguin have finally updated the Featured Igloo displayed on the Community page. This time Wade Star has won. I love how Wade Star has made a water pipe and sea in the Migrator igloo. A picture of Wade Star’s igloo can be found below:

Club Penguin What’s New For Members In May

Club Penguin’s Membership page has been updated. You can now check out what members can expect in the upcoming month, May. You can take a look at what members can expect below:

Members can expect the following things in May:

• Prepare thyself for a new battle!
• Become a knight, princess or wizard with new clothing items!
• Decorate your igloo with furniture fit for a king or queen… or dragon.
• Coming in June: Will you safe or destroy the city?

It looks like the Medieval Party will start next month. If you think back to the Club Penguin Behind The Scenes video, then you’ll probably remember that a new villain is coming to the Medieval Party. I’m not sure what will be coming in June though. New Club Penguin Logging Out Feature

Today, I noticed that Club Penguin added a new feature. When I logged out of Club Penguin it automatically directed me to a page which said “Thanks for Playing. Waddle On! It also showed an image were it had information about what you can get by going to the Club Penguin Community Blog. There was a button which can direct you to the Club Penguin Community Blog by clicking it. We have provided an image below:

Club Penguin: Ruby and the Ruby at the Stage

The play at the Club Penguin Stage has been updated. “Ruby and the Ruby” has arrived back on the island for the first time for quite a long time. You can check out this refreshed play over at the Stage.

As always, the Costume Trunk catalog has also been updated with the costumes to fit the “Ruby and the Ruby” play. There is only one cheat in this catalog. On the first page of the new Club Penguin Costume Trunk catalog, click the three lines going through the top of the circle. You can now purchase the “Dark Detective’s Coat“.

There is also a Round Ruby pin up for grabs. All you have to do is click on five objects in the correct order.

3. Book
4. Vase
5. Painting
6. Open the safe to claim your pin.

I think this play is rather dampening for the Stage itself, due to it’s black and white effect, however overall it acts as a nice attribution to the Club Penguin island and the Stage. What do you think of this play? Be sure to submit your opinions below!
